Spring  has Sprung

With the arrival of spring, so comes the frenzy to find a property for those seeking to call Oceanside their home. This year, it’s been a little like trying to find that hidden Easter egg on Easter Sunday. We’re all scrambling to find a home before someone else grabs it!  With fewer than 200 single family homes in a market that should see 1000+, it makes for a pretty intense Easter Hunt.

Also a little perplexing is what comes first, the chicken or the egg?  Should I sell and then buy, or buy and then sell? So many wanting to sell are afraid they won’t find anything if they do, and that’s perfectly understandable, especially in this current market. However, it’s tough to convince your client to buy first and sell later. They need to have an incredible amount of trust in your expertise and have faith that you can deliver.

The relationship you build with your client is critically important. Understanding the emotion and anxiety that one can experience when making decisions as important as the purchase and sale of their home is paramount. Demonstrating competence and confidence along with understanding and empathy are qualities you must have when navigating an uncertain market.

Spring is a joyous time, a rebirth and a time for new beginnings. I strive to ensure that my clients experience their new beginnings with healthy anticipation and as little stress as possible. The goal is to hand over the keys to happy homeowners and know that the only stress they’ll encounter is emptying all those moving boxes!

I hope your Easter was enjoyable and time was had with those you love in a home you adore. If you’re looking for a new beginning, let’s get to work and find that home you’ve been dreaming of so that you can enjoy the beautiful summer we long for when spring has passed. Happy Easter everyone!
