A Country Manor is another lovely B&B nestled into the calm waters of Nanoose Bay. Located off of Powder Point Road and Blokker and owned and run by Elaine Cowan, this beautiful property has gorgeous grounds and comfortable rooms with picturesque views over the gardens and across the bay. To keep everyone safe, A Country Manor is temporarily closed due to COVID-19, however when it’s safe to do so, it will be up and running to serve its new and former guests with a welcomed smile. 
Elaine has many talents. Besides being a congenial hostess and an exceptional cook, she has a successful floral business. She creates her breathtaking bouquets for weddings, anniversaries, funerals or any occasion where flowers are just the touch you’re looking for. Her floral arrangements can also be found at Springford Market, but don’t dally or they will be sold out!
I found Elaine when I was taking a ride and noticed fresh eggs set out waiting for their rightful owner. My immediate thought was, “I need to get to know this person!” Just a block over from me, Elaine is now my official supplier of free run organic eggs which are delicious and I’m certain make a wicked omelette!
