Top Bridge is one of our favourite spots. With multiple access points, you can vary the length and spend as much or as little time as you have exploring this wonderful treasure. True to it’s name, you will discover a suspension bridge which crosses the Englishman River where the path continues. 
The access point we use is within walking distance of the Tigh Na Mara resort. The landscape is ever changing which makes this trail all the more interesting. From the entrance on Industrial Way in Parksville, the path takes you through a meadow which winds its way down alongside the river. Trilliums and ferns abound and the river is crystal clear. Before the bridge you’ll find a beach area where your pooch can have a much needed drink or swim.
Once you cross the bridge, you can follow the trail all the way to the Fish Hatchery. The distinct ecosystems are amazing as well as the geology. Top Bridge trail is a must have on your list and is bound to become a favourite.
